Customer name: Jason Bower I just received my manual unit & I don\’t think this is for me. its super touchy & everytime that rear wheel comes off I\’m going to hit that cover & mess up the setting. it\’s far too cumbersome for us Americans!! Upon reading the electric model seems much more user-friendly. can I get a return for this one & reorder the electric model. Cheers JB |

Hi JB, Well, here’s the thing – as you might’ve noticed if you visited the webshop yesterday/today – electronic stuff was removed from the webshop because this was a mistake made by my employee who published them when he shouldn’t have. It’s in beta phase and only accessible through this link: https://planet3.bike/shop/expired-cheap-discount-link-haha/ However, even when it was published – I hoped that the description was informative enough for someone to make an informed decision. Partially it was removed because there was no detailed materials I had planned (such as a video comparison, explanation of the intricacies during setup and use etc). Many people, Americans included :), have been using the mechanical PLANET3 for years without issues. You can’t really hit the cover without hitting your hub end cap first and the only time when there’s a problem is if you go through some really tall grass and it winds itself around everything and compresses things OR if you crash into some shrubbery and a branch gets stuck between your PLANET3 and bike frame. These are very few and far between cases, so you should be all good 🙂 So, the device being potentially “touchy” and you being worried about something that will likely never happen is not really a valid reason for a return/refund situation. 🙂 HOWEVER, if you’d really really like the chip and you’re gonna tell some friends about it – I’ll make you the following deal: buy the chip via the link above and I’ll discount it in the form of a refund for another 50 EUR. You can also still sell your mechanical PLANET3 to someone via FB/forums etc. and I can help with this if you link me to your post where I can explain which bike/hub combination it is for because people sometimes think it’s one-size-fits-all and it’s far far from it. Let me know what you decide and we’ll go from there. Regards, Alex [Quoted text hidden] |

Same results It’s a joke… everytime reinstalling the wheel you hit the cover knocking it out of spec. What’s the issue w/ a return? Your ego scared? Thank you JB On May 16, 2024, at 5:22 AM, info@planet3.bike wrote:[Quoted text hidden] |

Oh how the turntables… Good luck, man. You’re just going to be one of the select few who didn’t read the Warranty stuff here: https://www.planet3.bike/terms-and-conditions/ None of what you said is true, I did my best to offer solutions (to non-existent problems, might I add), meanwhile you didn’t even read the email and then resorted to personal insults and threats.
