Act of God Insurance Policy

This is for the responsible individuals who would like to purchase peace of mind and the sound sleep that comes with the knowledge that there’s another PLANET3 waiting for you in case your original one suffers any type of physical damage. “But Alex, why would it suffer physical damage? Isn’t it supposed to never wear out?” – I hear you ask, quietly. Yes – that is correct and it’s been tested both in the lab (I wore a white coat and Oakley goggles – and that’s the only thing I wore) and in the real world. HOWEVER, sometimes shit happens and you fly off the trail into the surrounding shrubbery and PLANET3, even in its tucked-away position on the rear rotor, can suffer damage from a caught branch or another “Act of God”. Other times, you don’t listen to daddy who begs, pleads and screams in the Installation instruction videos at you to PLEASE make sure the main parts are properly spaced with the necessary gap in between (or you let your bike mechanic install it for you – even worse) and things wear out over time depending on how much pressure and friction was trapped inside the device. All of this is covered by your Act of God insurance policy. To take advantage of it, all you need to do is send a photo of your PLANET3 internals with the visible damage and once you cover the shipping (a link to cover only the shipping will be sent to you) you get a brand new PLANET3.

The only thing not covered by the Act of God insurance policy is theft. The reason is simple: we don’t trust you! 😀 You might fuck our shit up, say the whole bike was stolen and thus take advantage of our innocence and good-hearted nature! However, if you contact us via e-mail, have filed a police report or a claim with your insurance company and have your bike’s original invoice and other accompanying documentation – then OK, policy stands. That’s a damn good deal.

Also, this policy can only be used once with your original purchase of the PLANET3 device. If you’ve bought multiple units, and the first one you bought the policy with but it’s one of the later ones that suffers an unfortunate fate – no problem, your policy can be applied to any of your PLANET3 units – you just cannot mix and match the policy for the PLANET3-E chip version with the PLANET3 mechanical version.
